before we set off for Sheffield to collect the new machine and then to the hotel to settle in. We have arranged to meet some of the other retreaters in the bar on Thursday evening. The retreat starts Friday lunch time.
Yesterday I took delivery of 8 assorted ceramic pots, we are gradually moving over from plastic, apart from the really huge ones I use in the summer. The herbaceous bed although it does not look it at the moment is more or less full now. I have some plants I rescued from B's which I will slot in possibly in the front garden. Its a riot at the moment, all the grape hyacinths and tiny daffs are out in force. T trimmed back two of the bushes that are in there, B's rose she bought when Pete died us also shooting and the alstroemeria are also showing new growth. I split the plant I dug up and gave half of it to B's DIL.
The gardener will be here this afternoon, so I need to get out and see what we can move into the new pots. I may need to order more compost.
Supper tonight is fish and chips.
