Coffee

This morning is our usual coffee morning at the chapel round the corner. A meet up with friends to catch up.

Yesterday we had our meeting at the council, we then went grocery shopping. I have had to stop going to the saturday market for fruit and veg, it was just too expensive, so its back to the supermarket. Tuesday is market day so the place was rammed and lots of stuff cleared from the shelves.

Whilst DB had his siesta I went back into the sewing room and its fairly clear now. I have the two old chests from our bedroom in there just now, they are on the net for sale. If they have not sold by next weekend they will go to the charity shop for the Air Ambulance.

I have tried out my new machines sewing side, its very different from the Janome, but it is easier to alter settings. I had a read through the first few pages of the instruction book last night, not that it really went in. I will have to keep it on hand by the machine until I get used to the different settings.

So we have beef casserole for supper tonight, will do some of our home grown cabbage with it.

The embroidery arm which replaces the smaller arm. You can in fact use the machine as a sewing machine even with the embroidery arm on, there is a button you press and the arm moves right to the far end instead of sitting in the middle.
