I did not post yesterday, I have had a sore throat for a few days and managed to convince myself I had covid....... thankfully I have not, it must have been the dry atmosphere which dried my throat out. At least 4 of the ladies who were there have tested positive since they got home. I suppose having 100 people together in one place for 3 days, its only to be expected.
I went for my blood test and also put in our scripts for renewal, I will be out of one medication for a couple of days, but its not a critical one.
It was a day of rain, sleet and sun. The gardener was here after lunch, more things from 'B' s garden planted along with the violets I was given. He also re laid a couple of the stepping stones which had sunk and helped DB level up one of the obelisks which had too much to drink and was listing quite badly.
I spent most of the morning and part of the afternoon on the machine, I am making a runner for the top of my chest of drawers, I also want to get some glass cut for the top to save marks. I need 10 of the squares, have done 5, so 5 more to do. They will need joining by hand to make a long runner.
An order put in for a delivery from Morrison, We did a bit of a top up shop when we were in town this week.
DB is out in the garden, we need the grass cut, but are due a frost tonight so it will be done tomorrow sometime.
Freezer dive for supper, spag bol, I have no garlic bread so we will have to make do with bread.
